Screenwriter, director and fiction and documentary producer. She defines herself as a forced migrant woman who makes cinema. Her short fiction, Tierra, premiered at the competitive section of the 67th SEMINCI, and her first feature film Hija del Volcán, in post-production, has won several prizes such as the Impact Ignition Prize of Sunny Side of the Doc, the WIP Music Library of the Malaga Film Fest, the PNR of MadridCreaLab or the Señal Colombia of MiradasDoc. She’s developing the documentary series “La herida primaria” in Coolfilm and the programme “Desde otro prisma” for Notodofilmfest and Netflix. She participates as a speaker in national and international festivals, conferences, and congresses about diversity and against racism. She is the representative of the Group of Migrant and Racialized Women at CIMA (Women Filmmakers and Audiovisual Media association), programmer at CIMA en Corto and is responsible for the social-gathering activities.
