SYNOPSIS

In a magical realist thriller, a cat turns into a woman and becomes the object of her owner’s toxic fixation. The film explores the complex dynamics of power in relationships, focusing on who possesses it, what the person is willing to do to obtain it, and how it changes them. The story takes place in a strange world, where the transformation of a cat into a woman reveals the characters’ internal struggles and deep desires. The film explores themes of family, shame, and the privilege of the younger generation to openly embrace their identity, while their parents’ generation grapples with deeply ingrained societal norms. The burden of shame is inherited by the children, who, even after coming out, face the dilemma of whether to retain or release it.
