Nuria González Blanco is a screenwriter, director, and animation producer. She studied Animation at the Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland, where she received a BAFTA New Talent nomination for her animated short film Domingueros. Over the past fifteen years, Nuria has worked on feature films, short films, television, and advertising projects. Notable works include the feature film The Breadwinner, nominated for both the Golden Globe® and the Oscar® Awards; the television series Puffin Rock, nominated for the Emmy® Kids Awards; the award-winning short films Violet and Late Afternoon—the latter winner of an IFTA and for which Nuria was nominated for an Oscar® as Producer in 2019; and the preschool series Silly Sundays—created and directed by Nuria—nominated for the
