SYNOPSIS
On October 2017, two lovers boarded a boat to the end of the world. The boat starts its journey on September and it ends in January with the new year. A man and a woman meet and have a dialogue that includes culture, memory, ideas and a personal melancholy. They have finally found each other before the countdown stops. They are so far and so close to their own resurrection.

ISMENE DASKAROLIS
Ismene Daskarolis is an awarded filmmaker currently living in Athens and Berlin. She graduated from the School of Fine and Applied Arts in Thessaloniki in 2012, specialising in painting, video art and installation. Previously she studied Film and Television at the New York College in Athens. Her work varies among narrative shorts, experimental shorts, video art and dance films and has been screened and gained distinctions in multiple international film festivals. Works in progress have been presented in development programs such as the Baltic Pitching Forum. Ismene has also worked as a film critic and journalist, acting as Chief Editor in the film Department of Exostis Press for three years. Her articles have also been published in publications such as Nisimazine and Cineuropa, among others.
