Alicia has worked as a producer, screenwriter, and director in more than 30 animation projects for companies such as BRB Internacional, Aardman Animations or Ánima. In 2018, she founded MIA (Association of Women in the Spanish Animation Industry) along with other colleagues and she was its first elected president.
Currently, she is in charge of the development department at Ánima, she is a member of the Spanish Film Academy, and she is directing her second short film. Her first one, “La primavera siempre Vuelve”, toured festivals around the world and was nominated at the 37th Goya Awards.
